Equipment

  • 1 Pizza Peel
  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 1 Pizza Cutter or scissors

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 2 large tomatoes thinly sliced
  • 1 Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C)
  • Roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface.
  • Transfer the dough to a pizza pan or baking sheet.
  • Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  • Arrange the sliced tomatoes and mozzarella over the sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil."
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese over the pizza before baking.
